Refrigerator Raider

Dylan has figured out how to open the fridge.

I walked in on this yesterday…

I asked what he was doing.

He said, "I drinkin' juice, momma."

Dylan Reads!

Dylan loves to read, but usually he likes us reading to him. So when he sat down and read to me I was shocked. And very impressed. Even if every page does sound the same. :)

Wimberly Vacation!

Every year we go on vacation with my family (laura). We've gone to Dauphin Island the last many, but because of BP we changed plans this year and opted for Wimberly, TX instead. It was fun, as always, but this year we had a couple new additions making it even MORE fun (and noisy and chaotic) than usual. 15 people and next year will be 16. And counting? Perhaps. My money's on Anna. :)
Here are a few pics of the fun times.
Our home for a week.

Breakfast with Hunny. No wonder they're Hunny's boys.

Deer came right up to the house every evening.

Seriously loved this dress.

Fun Times

It rained recently and Dylan wanted to go outside. I explained that it was rainy and wet and we couldn't, but he insisted. He ran to get his jacket (that he outgrew several months ago), it was so funny I had to take a picture.

Ready to play in the rain.

"Oh no, momma!" (His hair got wet.)

He didn't care for long, though.

I was digging through Hensley's closet the other day and found this adorable onesie, it says "Bling is my Thing". She'd never worn it and it was a 0-3mo. (She's 6 mo now) So we squeezed her into it for this picture, it's just a little snug.. =)

She's getting so big and sweeter and sweeter every day. She is such a joy! She likes to laugh. She thinks Dylan is hilarious.

Pinching those adorable chubby cheeks!

Hensley just looooves her Gran!

I have to be careful leaving my clothes lying around, lately Dylan's been trying them on…

My fabulous house shoes.

Daddy would be so proud. :)

It can also be worn as a hat…who knew?

A few weeks ago Jeremy and I were lucky enough to have the best baby sitters (his parents) watch the kids while we went swimming. It was so foreign being without them. Our "vacation" lasted a whole 7 hours! (Hensley didn't eat the entire time so we had to cut it short.) It was fun while it lasted though.

New Post! Alert the presses!

Yes, I'm a terrible blogger, it's true. Sorry for the long delay. I've been meaning to post updates. I'll take pictures of the kids doing cute things, but somehow never find the time to sit down and write about it.

A lot has happened over the past 2 months, so sit back and grab some chips, this could take awhile.

Dylan turned 2 in March, so we had a little party at Hunny and Pop Pops house when we went home for Easter. It was a lot of fun, the Hamptons, Chapmans, Goodnights and Smiths all came out to party.

Fun party pics.

Dylan loooves his new playset (in college station). His favorite way to slide is face first, of course. We have to go outside everyday to "ide" and "wing".

Aunt Addie and Uncle Jimmy brought the real fun though...baby goats. Jackson, Dylan and Asa were so cute to watch. Even Hensley got in on the action.

I braved a trip to Austin alone last weekend while Jeremy went fishing with friends. It was exhausting keeping up with 2 little ones! I don't think I'll try that again anytime soon, but we had a lot of fun. Amanda and I thought it would be cute to get Dylan and Jackson to sleep in the same bed, to prepare them for Gulf Shores this summer. It worked for a few hours anyway. Maybe next time we'll try it with seperate beds.

Asa on Jack's trampoline.

Dylan's new funny face.

Right before we left.

The other day Dylan took his shorts off while watching cartoons, his newest trick.  I told him to go put his pants back on, thinking he'd probably call me to come help. He came back a few minutes later like
this.

Dylan the Merman.

Falling didn't slow him down either, he was still hard to catch.

Yesterday I was attacked by this scary monster. He would run into walls, laugh and say "Grrr! I mon-er, momma!"
Making sure I was still running.

Now it's Hensley's turn. I can't believe she's almost 5 mo! I just want to slam on the brakes, it's going by so fast. Who wants to see some Hensley cuteness?? I do! I do!

Hensley at 4 mo.
My little Easter Bunny.

Waking up from a nap with a smile.

Where's Heeensley??

First time trying cereal...she thought it was poison.

Aunt Jo showing off her handy work. The toenails, not the baby.

I love this one! Hutch thought something was hysterical and Hens has the sweetest angel face...she get it from her momma.
(photo compliments of uncle stu)

Hensley made a new friend over Easter, Sean Anthony Acuna (Bany's baby). He was born at 26wks, so he's a true miracle baby. He's 5 mo here.

Hensley holding his hand. A little forward, that one.

Aren't they adorable! :)
