SNOOOOOW!!

I'm sure everyone's sick of snow at this point, but it's still new to us. We had our first snow this Tuesday and I enjoyed it...for about 10min. Dylan, on the other hand, couldn't get enough.

Chasing snowflakes.

Showing me soggy sidewalk chalk he found. "EEOW!"

It was really coming down.

The first mention of going back inside.

Aaaand we're inside.

Hunny in CS

Hunny came for a visit last week and we had SO MUCH FUN! We ate good food, Jeremy and I were able to go on a date (woowoowee!), Dylan got to play with his Hunny ALL DAY EVERY DAY for 4 days (sorry about that mom, I know you're still recovering), and I was able to get a whole lot of work done around the house. She was a HUGE help! Here are some pics from last week.

Playing baseball in the backyard.

Does she not look EXACTLY like her daddy??

Winding down before bed.

"How many fingers am I holding up?"

Dylan wanted to share his baby toys with Hunny.

Moved in...to our new house!!! :)

Yaaaaayy! We finally got moved in to our new house in College Station. We're still not 100% settled, but we're not far away. We still have a few more boxes to sort through, and then we can have our BIG garage sale. That should be lots of fun! We bought new couch and oversized chair, and we're loving them! Of course, after living without furniture for 2 or 3 weeks, it makes you appreciate any couch. :) We also went without internet (which explains some of the reason we have not posted in a while) and TV for a few weeks. We now have them both and can definitely appreciate them more, now!

La is adjusting to being a stay-at-home mom really well! She's been cooking and cleaning like a champ while keeping the kids happy. And sorting through boxes all at the same time. I'm not sure how she does it all, but I certainly do appreciate her!!

Hensley has been a really good baby. She normally only cries when she is hungry. We're fortunate that she sleeps really good. We (Laura) normally only has to get up once a night with her. Have I mentioned that Laura does a great job with the kids!!!

Dylan has adjusted well, too. He has a new "big boy" bed. And he has learned to open doors. He now greets us in the early mornings (sometimes too early) with a "Hi Momma", "Hi Daddy". Then he climbs up in the bed and gives us each a hug. It's awesome!

Here's another good story...A few days ago, Laura was trying to put Dylan down for a nap during the day. Of course, he did not want to go to sleep. So, he would get out of his bed, open his door, and come into the living room. After doing this a couple of times, Laura put him in the baby crib thinking he would not be able get out of it. Needless to say, he surprised us. The funny part is he climbed out of the crib, open and closed doors, went straight to his bed, and took a nap.

Other things D-mo likes to do at our new house...
1. He likes running into the fence in our back yard.
2. He likes to go for walks (runs). He likes to say "run", and we both take off running. When he gets tired he says "walk". He waits a couple of seconds and says "run" again.
3. He likes squeezing between our new blinds and the window to look outside.
4. He likes watching the movie, "A Bug's Life". La and I have memorized most of the lines.
5. While watching "A Bug's Life", he likes running around in circles all crazy like the ants when the grasshoppers show up.
6. He still likes chasing Daisy (our dog) around the house. I think it makes him feel powerful.
7. He likes eating biscuits, popsickles and eating thru wrappers to get to candy.
8. He likes falling off of the arm of our couch onto pillows.
9. He likes using dad's tools.
10. He likes walking in dad's boots.
11. He likes ketchup.
12. He likes yogurt.
